Grail Australia Statement on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse
The Grail Australia respects the dignity and vulnerability of children, and acknowledges the sin and crime of child sexual abuse and its cover up, particularly, at this time, in our churches and religious institutions.
The Grail Australia supports mandatory civil reporting of sexual abuse of children and vulnerable persons.
The Grail Australia affirms the power and capacity of each of us to change church structures and culture. We commit to working with others for changes that will ensure the safety of all from sexual abuse in our churches.
