‘In Her Voice’ is nominated Garratt Publishing’s Book of the Year 2023
January 25, 2024The Grail in Australia is honoured that Garratt Publishing has nominated In Her Voice: Raising Women’s voices in Preaching the Gospel as its Book of the Year 2023. In Her Voice draws on the weekly podcasts from Australian Women Preach, a joint project of the Grail in Australia and WATAC.

Each year it is a challenge to choose our Book of the Year. This year was particularly difficult, with each book in contention worthy of this honour.
However, with the role of women in the Church being at the forefront of much debate, it was this unique Australian book that showcases women preaching the Gospel that has won the title of Garratt Publishing’s Book of the Year!
'In Her Voice: Raising Women's Voices in Preaching the Gospel' by Australian Women Preach
Australian Women Preach is a weekly podcast featuring Australian women preaching the Sunday Gospel. The subsequent book – 'In Her Voice' – was created using a selection of reflections from the podcast by 30 women preachers of diverse Christian faith and ages. It is powerful and ground-breaking.
